Hamilton UNITES for a week of prayer

Last Friday marked the completion of a week of 24-7 prayer in the city of Hamilton. This event was birthed out of a growing hunger in the local Church of Hamilton to see prayer permeate congregations in radical new ways, giving birth to mission. The Greater Ontario House of Prayer, a local full-time ministry of day and night worship and intercession, collaborated with “True City,” a network of churches in Hamilton with a heart for unity and missional living, to organize the week of prayer. The event was an interdenominational effort to join the hearts of the members of the body of Christ in prayer for the City. Held at Philpott Memorial Church in Hamilton, the prayer room was creatively decorated with various stations including a space for listening, for City-focused prayer, prayer for refugees, Prayer for Street Youth,” prayer for the First Nations peoples, prayer for the Nations, prayer for addictions and mental health, prayer for the environment, and… continued
