Pray for the Church by using Ephesians particularly chapter 4

Pray for the community of Whistler and the lower mainland region including Vancouver

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” Ephesians 6:18

Pray for all the teams doing outreach in Whistler and Vancouver during the Olympics, pray that it will be effective.

Protection from terrorist attack, criminal activity and thefts. There’s a real threat of human trafficking as organized crime floods the area with “escort” services. Let’s pray for early detection and detainment of criminals wherever they show their hand. See the website here. Pray also for the Salvation Army as they are ready with safe houses to harbour any sex-trade workers who are looking to escape their masters.

Pray for money to be directed to tackle social problems including child poverty, essential community services, homelessness and housing. The Provincial Budget will be announced on 19 February.
